MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been impacted by his global popularity. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. He released Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album the year following. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a musician born in a musical home. Both his parents also played the guitar. In interviews, Turizo has said that music is a must. In his childhood he was taught to play guitar, the piano as well as the ukulele. While his initial career goal was that of veterinarian but his brother Julian convinced him to try taking singing lessons from the Cuban. The lessons revolutionized his entire life.
