Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music and traditional Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana is passionate about the operas and tangos and the dramatic shows that she attends. She was taught by her mother to sing. However, she started intensive vocal training by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. Following her move from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Ana is involved in a variety of local projects in both teaching and performer, because of her passion for art and music. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana hopes, with her performance of Latin American traditional songs, to inspire a love, especially among the younger generation to keep this tradition alive.
